We kickoff our event in about 4 weeks with create a bowl, then glaze a bowl, and then our Empty Bowl event in March. We open our classes to anyone in our community, any skill level is welcome to participate. Our goal is to make 200-250 bowls each year. The day of our event, we offer several soups, sandwiches, and snacks for a suggested donation of $15. In addition to their donation, they can have lunch and pick out a bowl. We also have several local artists create bowls for our Silent Auction. All proceeds go to our local Meals on Wheels. Our soups are donated from several local restaurants and HEB also donates to the event. We have been doing the event for, I believe, 14 years. I came on a couple years ago.

Everyone is invited to enjoy this beautifully-restored 19th century mansion that is now a recorded Texas landmark.  The Wynne Home is the gateway to the Huntsville Cultural District, just 2 blocks from Downtown Huntsville.  The facility is available for rental to individuals and non-profit organizations.
