The Toledo Potters Guild is partnering with Food for Thought to host the 2nd Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser. This lunchtime event will feature several choices of delicious soup from some of the area’s best restaurants. Tickets include a stunning, handmade bowl (that you choose!) filled with your choice of savory soup options, bread, and beverage. There will also be a ticket auction for one of six handmade pottery pieces. Guests will enjoy background music performed by the Toledo School for the Arts while having lunch in the beautiful Toledo Botanical Gardens setting.
One in four families in Lucas County experiences hunger. Food for Thought offers several mobile food pantries and a weekend lunch distribution program to help feed more than 400 families every month. Your participation in this event will help us continue our work of making sure no one’s bowl is empty.
