The Ceramic Society at the University of Houston-Clear Lake is hosting an Empty Bowls Throw-a-thon from 10-4pm on February 28th, 2025. Located in the ceramic studio at Arbor North. Free to attend and open to the public, no experience required! We have volunteers to help assist you create bowls on the pottery wheel, hand-building, and decorating. The ceramic society will trim, glaze, fire and then donate the bowls to the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft for this year’s Empty Bowl Houston event.
