On 2/8/2026, three young ladies from my Youth Group planned and pulled off an empty bowls event at First Congregational Church of Hopkinton, NH. We had almost 100 people attend. Talented potters in the area, students from our local Middle High School, and some of our church members donated bowls. Members of our congregation donated the soup. We had a speaker from Concord, NH’s soup kitchen (The Friendly Kitchen) come speak. Our event raised almost $2500 for a Family Meals Program that takes healthy par-cooked or pre-cooked meals to families in after school programs in the small city.
