Mt Dora Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls is an event where you can help alleviate hunger in our Mt Dora community. We will gather the weekend before Mothers Day in Donnelly Park, where you can purchase a beautiful, locally handcrafted bowl. Local restaurants will join us & provide a scrumptious soup for your new bowl! The best part is that every penny you spend on this event will go directly to support Lake Cares Food Pantry, making your meal even more meaningful.

Empty Bowls at Oakton

Empty Bowls at Oakton is part of a nonprofit, global movement that has raised millions of dollars for food banks, soup kitchens, and other meal programs. The Ceramics Club will host the Empty Bowls event on December 2nd, 2022 at the Ten Hoeve Center at Des Plaines from 10:30 am-2 pm. Attendees will be able to pick up ceramic artwork at this event and all the proceeds will go to six local food pantries.
